Important Pre-Wedding Information
- Marriage licenses must be obtained from the town where the ceremony will take place.
- Both individuals must present themselves to the town hall to sign the application
- You will need to apply 2 weeks before the ceremony
- License is good for 65 days from the day of issue
- Waiting periods, blood tests are no longer required
- Valid forms of ID: Driver's License, Military ID, Passports, Birth Certificates
- You will need:
- Your Social Security Card
- Name, Address and Phone Number of the Officiant performing the ceremony
- Address where ceremony will take place
- Date of ceremony
- Officiant must have copy of license in their hands before ceremony can occur
It is advised you check with the town hall to verify above information and any additional information including fees. All information above is subject to change.
